Three conservation districts share Klickitat County, and the county's own guidance is the quickest way to work out which is yours. Underwood Conservation District at White Salmon takes everything west of the Klickitat River; Central Klickitat covers the stretch between Lyle and Goldendale; Eastern Klickitat covers the ground east of Goldendale. Central and Eastern share one office and one telephone line. All three give advice and site visits at no charge.
