Free technical and regulatory help for small forest landowners: forest practices applications, riparian rules and the cost share options that go with them.

Several separate programmes sit under this office: replacing culverts that block fish, payment in exchange for a 40 year easement on qualifying timber, and help with the forest practices application process. The Service Forestry Program can also help you put together a Forest Stewardship Plan, which the office says can help you qualify for financial assistance and current use taxation.
