Arizona Well Registry and Well Record Search

Every groundwater well in Arizona is registered with the state and the registry is public. You can search the Wells55 database by parcel to find whether a well exists on a piece of land, who it is registered to, how deep it was drilled and what the driller logged on the way down. The department also publishes a list of licensed well drillers and a practical guide to drilling a domestic well.
Who qualifies Serves raw, undeveloped land. Anyone can search. No ownership is checked and no account is needed.
How to apply Use the well record search and its parcel search wizard. Registry numbers begin 55. If you buy land with a well on it, a Request to Change Well Information keeps the record current.
