Education and technical assistance for private forest landowners from the state forestry department. Staff advise on forest management practices, forest diseases and invasive plants, silviculture, timber harvest, site preparation for forest treatment projects, invasive plant control and writing a forest plan.
Who qualifies Serves raw, undeveloped land. Private forest landowners in Arizona. The programme is about the trees on the ground rather than a house, so land with no building on it is squarely within it.
How to apply Complete the Landowner Information Request Form linked from the programme page and a staff member will contact you, or ring the department's general services number and ask to be routed to Forest Stewardship staff.
