Washoe County has two fire agencies with something to offer and a line drawn between them. Reno Fire Department serves the city and places free 30 yard dumpsters in neighbourhoods close to the wildland urban interface on published dates, run with State Farm and Waste Management of Northern Nevada. Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District covers the unincorporated county and runs free green waste days twice a year, one northern station and one southern, offered as the alternative to pile burning once the burn season ends. The state forestry division names both as defensible space inspection contacts here, but Reno never says what an inspection costs and the Truckee Meadows page is interface code guidance offering no inspection, so neither is listed as one.
