Oneida County keeps its Extension office on South Main Street in Malad City, and its septic permitting is done at Pocatello by Southeastern Idaho Public Health. On tax the useful thing is knowing which office to ring. Idaho counties do the assessing and the billing while the state commission oversees the procedure, so a valuation question goes to the county assessor and a bill question to the county treasurer. The commission runs a separate number again for mapping questions.
