For neighbourhoods that organise and pay for their own chipping, the district reimburses eligible costs. One person applies for the group and later submits the reimbursement request, then shares the money out.
Who qualifies Neighbourhoods, homeowner associations or road associations in eligible areas. No minimum number of households is required, though the district says it is more economical with several. Chipping is limited to vegetation cleared within 100 feet of occupied structures or within 10 feet of private roads. The district publishes a per property cap and a per length of private road cap.
How to apply One person from the neighbourhood applies when the programme is open, first come first served, and submits the reimbursement request afterwards.
