Six single family house plans, from 576 to 1,613 livable square feet, in one, two and three bedroom designs with carport, garage or neither, drawn for the county and given away. Truss calculations and layouts come with them. The plans can be used for a primary residence or for a guest house.
Who qualifies Serves raw, undeveloped land, which is the point of it. The plans are free to use for building within Navajo County's jurisdiction. You still finance the house yourself, still have to check the plan fits your lot and its setbacks, and still have to permit and install a septic system or show a connection to a wastewater system.
How to apply Read the submittal requirements document, download the plan documents you want, then create an account on the Navajo County Citizen Portal and start the permit, uploading the construction plans, truss calculations and the signed submittal requirements.
