Kings County Master Gardener Advice

Trained University of California Master Gardener volunteers give free research based advice on home gardening to Kings County residents, with a Kings County help desk at the Hanford office one morning a week. This is land and gardening advice, not wildfire assistance.
The Kings County help desk is Thursday only, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., on (559) 852-2736 at the Hanford office on N. Campus Dr. Outside that, you can bring samples to the UCCE office between 8 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday. They cover pest and disease identification, soil and composting, and plant choice for the local 9a-9b zones. Where this comes from
Who qualifies Home gardeners in Kings County. The programme states it cannot advise large scale commercial operations, identify mushrooms for eating, or make landscape design visits to private property.
