Help with a utility bill for households on low incomes, funded by the state and delivered by local Community Action Agencies. A companion state programme, Power AZ, extends utility assistance further up the income scale, to households at up to the state median income.
Who qualifies Requires a primary residence. It pays a household's energy bill, so it is for land with somebody living on it rather than for bare ground. Income tested.
How to apply Apply online through the Arizona portal or on paper, or go to the Community Action Agency for your county, whose details the department publishes. Expect the phone lines to be busy.
