Defensible space inspections run by the conservation district rather than by a fire agency, free to landowners in western Shasta County: an inspector comes out and goes through the ground around your buildings with you, saying what has to be cleared.
One thing to check first: the district's Defensible Space Readiness Program is aimed at eligible property owners with a residence on the land who have failed the new Shasta County defensible space inspection, so it follows an inspection rather than replacing one.
