The district's Community Wildfire Resilience programme, which also supports Firewise USA sites across Thurston County.
Two different things sit under this heading. Wildfire Ready Neighbors is a free assessment of your own place, and a mitigation expert contacts you to schedule it. Firewise USA is the neighbourhood one: a committee of at least two people, a minimum of 8 dwelling units inside the boundary, and one volunteer hour per dwelling each year. Only Firewise carries microgrants, paid as reimbursement. Where this comes from
