Nevada Tahoe Fire Defensible Space Rebate

Money back on defensible space work you have already had done, run with Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District. The district reimburses up to half the cost of completed work, to a cap the programme page states as 5,000 dollars. The inspection that establishes what needs doing is carried out by the fire district, not by the conservation district.
Who qualifies Requires a primary residence. Open to homeowners in high risk areas, and the programme page limits it to the Upper Kingsbury, Zephyr Cove, Zephyr Heights, Zephyr Knolls and Marla Bay neighbourhoods. It covers fire defensible space violations only; no home hardening work is covered.
