Glenn County Small Landowner Forest Improvement Program

A partnership between the district and small forested landowners inside the Mendocino National Forest footprint in Glenn County. The district gives free technical assistance to develop and submit a forest improvement grant application, and names two staff who do it.
This is a small programme by design. The district counts 84 eligible properties inside the Glenn County part of the Mendocino National Forest, and says about a quarter of them fall under the 20 acre minimum the California Forest Improvement Program sets. Who qualifies Small forested landowners within the Mendocino National Forest area of Glenn County. The district says the programme exists partly because many eligible properties fall below the acreage floor of the statewide forest improvement programme.
