Flagstaff Wildfire Resilient Homes Initiative

Trained staff visit and carry out a site specific wildfire home assessment, giving recommendations proven to reduce how easily a structure catches. The assessment is the door to the rest of the programme: a resilience kit afterwards while supplies last, and possibly a grant towards clearing the first five feet around the house.
Who qualifies Requires a primary residence. The programme's own words put it within the city of Flagstaff rather than across Coconino County, so a parcel out in the county is outside it. The assessment itself is free; the kit depends on supplies and the money is discretionary and prioritised for people with financial or physical limitations.
