Calaveras Landowner Technical Assistance
FreeForest health · Free, from Calaveras County Resource Conservation District
Free technical help and conservation planning from the district: somebody who will look at what you have, talk through thinning, fuel, erosion and planting, and put a written plan behind it. Raw undeveloped ground qualifies as readily as a private parcel with buildings on it.
Much of what this district puts on is workshops and public meetings: fuels reduction and defensible space roundtables, wildfire home assessment training, town halls on named fuelbreak projects. For forest health and fuels work specifically, its own page points to the Amador Resource Conservation District, which has offered technical assistance to landowners in Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
